Solar World Canada ships solar equipment across Canada from the best available stocking location for each order. Shipping method and cost depend on the product, order quantity, destination, warehouse origin, site access and carrier availability.
Solar Panels: Individual & Partial-Pallet Orders
Individual solar-panel orders and other orders below a full manufacturer pallet require protective pallet/skid packaging for safe freight handling.
A $95 CAD pallet / protective-packaging fee is charged at checkout on qualifying individual or partial-pallet solar-panel orders. This fee is charged once per qualifying shipment, not per panel.
Freight is quoted separately. Final freight depends on destination, shipping origin, quantity, access requirements and carrier. We confirm the freight amount before shipment and do not collect additional freight without your approval.
Full-Pallet Solar Panel Orders
Products specifically listed as a Full Pallet are exempt from the $95 partial-pallet packaging fee because they ship on the manufacturer pallet.
Full pallets still require freight. Checkout may show a freight-quote placeholder rather than the final carrier charge. Final freight is confirmed before shipment.
Freight Estimates & Final Charges
Where a shipping amount is displayed at checkout, it should be treated as an estimate unless the service is specifically identified as a final carrier-calculated rate. Freight can change because of warehouse origin, destination postal code, residential or commercial delivery, lift-gate requirements, limited-access locations, remote-area surcharges and unloading requirements.
If the final freight amount differs from the amount shown or expected at checkout, we contact you before shipment for approval. If the revised freight does not work for you, contact us before fulfillment; cancellation and refund eligibility follows the posted refund policy and any applicable supplier, freight or restocking commitments.
Parcel-Size Equipment
Smaller products such as electrical components, monitoring equipment, charge controllers and accessories may ship by parcel carrier where available. Shipping options depend on package weight, dimensions and destination.
Local Pickup
Pickup is available by appointment for eligible stocked products. Wait for pickup confirmation before travelling to the pickup location. Stock location varies by product.
Receiving Freight Shipments
Large solar-panel and equipment shipments may require a forklift, loading dock, lift-gate service or another suitable unloading plan. Inspect the shipment before signing the carrier receipt whenever possible and document visible damage immediately with photographs.
